This bill works to ensure that 9-1-1 dispatch has timely and up-to-date GIS data for their emergency service database and encourages counties and municipalities to receive a recommendation from the public safety answering point before approving a plat. The bill requires counties and municipalities to submit information for inclusion in the unified statewide 9-1-1 emergency service database to the Automated Geographic Reference Center (AGRC). |
